SBI YONO
YONO stands for You Only Need One is an automated digital banking platform offered by the State Bank of India that lets its customers access a wide range of financial and other services such as a bank, shop, travel, online shopping, recharge, medical bill payments, invest, avail IRCTC ticket booking, book movie tickets, use UPI to transfer money.
SBI YONO Mobile APP
You can avail a wide range of services with YONO SBI which also includes traditional mobile banking facilities like opening bank accounts, cashless bill transfers, transferring money, and loans. YONO is simply an advanced way to manage your cash with a single touch. To get YONO, all you need is your SBI Internet Banking credentials to get registered. Log in and enjoy the ease with YONO SBI that helps maximize your savings.
Note: If you do not have Internet banking credentials, you can use your debit card to create a temporary password for internet banking and register with the same. Let's get to know how to download and start using the YONO app.
How to download and register in the SBI YONO app?
SBI has launched this feature for all their users and you can download this application from the Play Store or App store depending on your phone model. Once the app is downloaded, install it and open the app to register your SBI account.
- Login to the SBI YONO app using your internet banking credentials. You can either enter the account details to complete registration.
- Enter your SBI account details including your ATM card number and your ATM PIN.
- Tap Submit button
- If you have entered your internet banking credentials, then you just need to enter your Internet banking user ID and password to log in
- Accept the terms and conditions to give consent to use MPIN
- Click on the Next button
- Choose an MPIN of your choice and enter the same
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click Next
- After successful verification, your account will be registered in the YONO SBI app.
You can now explore the features available in the YONO app. For subsequent logins, you can use MPIN you have chosen earlier or you can enter the user ID.
Note: Existing SBI customers can use their respective SBI online login credentials to register in the YONO app.

How to link SBI Credit Card with YONO SBI app?
- Login to your YONO SBI app from your mobile and go to the credit card section'
- On the next page, select the Link SBI Credit Card option
- Enter the required details such as user name and password and tap Sent OTP
- Enter the OTP received to add the credit card
- Your SBI Credit Card will be linked with the YONO SBI app
How to open an SBI account using SBI YONO app?
- Open the SBI YONO app and log in to your account
- Click the Open New Digital Account option and select either Digital Savings Account or Insta Savings Account
- Tap Apply Now button
- On the next page, select Apply New option. Read the product information and click Next
- Enter the details of your Aadhar card, PAN card, Email ID, mobile number, and referral code (optional)
- Read the terms and conditions carefully and accept it
- Click on Submit button to open a new account
How to Send or Transfer money using the YONO SBI app?
- Login to your SBI YONO app on your mobile phone
- From the home page, select the Fund Transfer option
- Select the beneficiary to whom you want to transfer the amount
- Enter the required details and fill in the amount
- Enter the MPIN to authenticate your transaction
- After a successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation message
How to withdraw cash from SBI ATM using YONO SBI app?
You can withdraw cash from the SBI ATM without a debit card. Just follow the below steps to withdraw cash using the YONO app.
- Visit the nearest ATM or any YONO cashpoint near to you
- Login to your YONO app by entering your PIN
- Select the YONO Pay option from the home page
- On the next screen, select the option YONO cash
- Next, raise a request to withdraw cash
- You will receive an OTP to your mobile for verification purposes. This is valid for 30 minutes
- At the SBI ATM or YONO Cash point, select Cashless Withdrawal
- Now, enter the OTP you have received through the YONO app and enter your YONO app's PIN for confirmation
YONO SBI Lite:
YONO SBI Lite is the lite version of the YONO SBI application that is available on both Playstore and Appstore.
This app supports both English and Hindi languages. This app also comes in a secure way as it is configured with the 4-digit MPIN feature.
The front view or UI is more simple and easy to use compared to YONO SBI and you will get a better viewing experience.
YONO SBI Lite comes with a wide range of features where you can manage your finances and plan ahead.
This app also comes with a voice assistance feature where you just need to speak on the mic of your phone and it will act on your command.
You can use features like balance inquiry, mini statement of the last 10 transactions, DTH recharge, Mobile top up, pay and view bills, Quick Money, and Logout.
SBI YONO Lite Registration Process:
For Android:
- Go to Play Store and download the YONO Lite SBI application.
- Install the app and open it
- Select SIM 1 or SIM 2 depending on the number that is registered with the SBI to complete the registration process. If you are using a single SIM, then you don't have to select SIM
- You will be able to view a message on the screen stating an SMS has been sent from the device for validation purposes
- Click on the Proceed button
- An SMS containing a unique code will be sent from your device to the pre-defined number for successful validation. Please note that to send the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable depending on your SMS plan
- On the next screen, enter your username and password
- Tap Register button
- To complete the registration accept the terms and conditions by selecting the check box and Tap Ok
- An activation code will be sent to your registered mobile number. This code is valid for 30 minutes from the time you received it.
- Enter the activation code in the app to complete the final step
- Now, you can successfully log in to the YONO Lite application
For iOS:
- Download the YONO Lite SBI application from the App Store
- Install and open the app
- An SMS will be sent from your device to validate the mobile number
- Tap Proceed to continue sending the message. A unique code will be filled in your message inbox with a pre-defined number.
- You need to send the SMS from your device within 30 seconds from the Phone number linked with your SBI account. Please note to send the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable depending on your SMS plan
- On the next page, enter your username and password
- Tap Register button
- Accept the terms and conditions by clicking on the check box and then Click Ok
- An activation code will be sent to your registered mobile number. This code is valid for 30 minutes from the time you received it.
- You need to complete the activation by entering the activation code in the application
- Now, you can successfully log in to the YONO Lite SBI application.
Is the YONO SBI app safe to use?
